Iran Men Volleyball Team defeated Italy for the second time!
Iran men Volleyball Team beat Italy 3-2 in the second competition at Inter continental Cup which is currently underway in Japan.
The Iranian volleyball team has already beat Italy 3-1 in the World League 2013 in its territory.
Italy won bronze medals in Olympics 2012 and World League 2012 and currently it stands the third in International Volleyball Federation ranking and Iran squad has won gold medal in Asian Championship in 2011 and 2013.
Intercontinental Cup are held with the participation of Russia, Italy, Brazil, the US, Japan and Iran.
Following the victory, the International Volleyball Federation said on its website that Iran volleyball team has turned to a major power.
It said that the victory indicated that the two-time champion of Asia has become a major global power.
